WASHINGTON - Juan Toja scored twice to help FC Dallas overcome a three-goal second-half deficit and salvage a 3-3 tie against D.C. United on Saturday night.
Dallas (9-6-3) had not allowed a goal in its last three matches but overcame a sloppy defensive start to improve to 4-1-2 in its last seven games. After falling behind 3-0 early in the second half, Carlos Ruiz scored in the 51st minute, and Toja followed with goals in the 71st and 81st minutes.
"Carlos got us started, and we knew the momentum was going and we could keep it going," Toja said.
